I remember him in Toronto in the early years when we’d listen to his show on the radio.

I always wondered what happened to that one he did where he mixed in pachelbel. That was one of my all time favourites and at the time, nobody had heard anything like it. I was one of those kids who liked a wide range of music including some classical and it was like someone had taken the best of both and made it work

wow. guess im not the only that was influenced by the one and only chris sheppard.like many this music brings back alot of memories.i used to record his sessions on friday nights. i actually found a few of those cassettes.awesome stuff. and with soundhound i can find the titles of the songs and download them. very cool. i also found that he now does compilation cds. and not dance music.one is a mediterranian cd.another is a salsa cd. guys all over the place. anyways glad i found this site. great work brian!!

His name is golden so he’s just going by Chris Sheppard as far as I know. I may agree or disagree with the direction the man takes over the years but when I hear that name I will always give it a fair shake. He has huge credibility in my ears as a producer and selector. He’s the man that turned me on to house music and broadened my horizons of hardcore.

I was shopping at Play De Record downtown earlier this year and while chatting with the owner the conversation somehow turned to Chris Sheppard. I wondered the same thing, where is he today, and the owner pulled out a recent CD of his from under the counter. It seems Sheppard is running with his production experience from the BKS days and is producing dance remixes of commercial songs.

Truth be told I really hated the music (techno Pink Floyd…) but the production quality sounded incredible on the shop’s sound system.

All the best to the Shep, the often imitated never duplicated one!
